Make-A-Wish

I felt very honored and blessed to have been chosen by MAKE A WISH foundation of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana to be their Designer for

Room "WISH" redos! My heart overflows when using my gifting to bring happiness, joy and a feeling of being loved to the special kiddo! It blesses me to know that during health struggles and a challenging childhood, this is their "WISH", and I get to help make it come true!

This little girls wish was to live in a castle, with a room full of sparkly,fancy, pink , princess things of her very own! The princess's mom was also dreaming of storage fit for a queen to hold her beautiful daughters medical supplies and treasured belongings . As I started to put this wish together I made sure to design it from the vantage point of the special princess lying in her bed. An added touch includes a bird feeder outside her window so she can enjoy watching the birds eat and stop by to say hello to her. Also a projector that shined stars and pretty colors onto her princess room as it moved all around. This little princess is truly royalty! Pictures of WISH transformation.

This teenage girl (who spoke through an interpretor ) did not want to ask for much. She shared that a desk would be nice, an area rug, more drawers, a large mirror to watch herself dance in, (as she loved music) and ceiling fan that worked. She wore a pink shirt (her favorite color)to show me the pinks she would like in her new room! She had wanted to go to new York city but was not able to go. I decided to add a little city feel to her room along with a disco ball that hung from her new fan. Then she could dance around and be like a teenage girl! as she shared,"I can now invite friends over!"Her thank yous and over the top enthusiasm, I will never forget! She is a sweetie!
